Cold-rolled galvanized Z-profiles are made of galvanized structural steel with a thickness of 1.5 to 3.0 mm with a first class zinc coating of 275 g/sq.m.
Z-profiles are used for
• Bearing beams of pitched roofs
• As guides when setting up a "set sandwich"
• As vertical guides for ventilated facades
The geometry of Z-profiles provides for the possibility of inserting one profile into another due to different sizes of horizontal shelves, which is necessary for the implementation of a multi-span resistance scheme in order to increase the bearing capacity of a certain section of the profile.
